The research tech carries out experiments as part of a team of researchers to investigate the molecular mechanisms mediating diseases. They will also record and analyze experimental results and collaborate effectively with other team members.


  • Performs a variety of complex, analytical and technical laboratory experiments, analysis and other duties as required in the study, pure research work following established methods and procedures.
  • Presents findings of ongoing research at lab meetings, research progress seminars, professional meetings and conferences.
  • Performs flow cytometry and cellular immunology assays.
  • Conducts literature searches, writes, and publishes the results of their research
  • Independently researches in the laboratory of a principal investigator
  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the iSCORE values of Jefferson.
  • Qualifications


    B.S. or B.A. in biology or related field required.



     Laboratory experience preferred. Strong organizational skills required
