Primary Function:

The Emergency Department Technician is responsible for assisting Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians in treating patients throughout the Emergency Department under the direct supervision of licensed staff and Nurse Manager.


Part-Time 12 Hours/Week Rotating Shifts

1. Education: Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant program or EMT program.

2. Experience: One year experience in acute or long-term care setting preferred. Successful completion of Aria Health Skill Competency Evaluation.

3. Licensure, Certification & Registration Requirements:

  • CPR certification.
  • Current CNA and/or EMT certification. 
  • Annual skill competency assessment. 
  • CBT Training
