Providence is calling a Behavioral Health Professional Staff Services Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Office Park/ Providence St. Vincent's in Portland, OR to join our fun and growing Behavioral Health team!
In this position, you will:
Work under the direction of the Regional Director-Behavioral Heatlh (BH) Programs.
Develop and communicate the staffing schedule for all Psychiatrist and Nurse Practitioner providers for Behavioral Health services in the Portland metro service area. Locations of service include, but not limited to, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center (PSVMC), Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC), Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center (PWF), Providence Milwaukie Hospital (PMH) inpatient psychiatric units, Chemical Dependency Services, Providence Medical Group (PMG) Psychiatric clinics, PPMC and PSVMC Consult Services, Telepsychiatric services.
Coordinate recruiting, hiring, credentialing and on-boarding process for BH managers for licensed professional staff including, but not limited to, Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC).
Be a liaison with the PMG professional recruiter, provider on-boarding specialist and CAST staff for psyciatric and mental health nurse practitioners.
Some travel involved to various locations - PSVMC, PPMC, and Willamette Falls
Required qualifications for this position include:
5 years of progressive experience in medical and leadership healthcare settings
5 years in Behavioral Health specialized clinical or leadership setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Associate degree or equivalent education
8-10 years of progressive experience in medical and leadership healthcare settings
Highly organized and detail oriented
Some project management experience
