The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Educator will function within a high acuity, 45 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This position will require the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Educator to display knowledge and experience in women s services and critical care while displaying strong teaching skills in this busy, high risk unit. In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, RNC-OB, CCRNs and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners this role will work towards department goals, increasing HCAHPS scores and developing quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a Level III or IV NICU along with experience using ECMO Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation machines.
