Position Summary

As the Connectors Product Specialist for the Goldfire business, you are responsible for ensuring that we have data in our platform. You are the owner of our connectors, which is our integration point into all external data sources. Garbage data in equals garbage data out, but you wont let that happen. Our product wouldnt be able to deliver value if we didnt have the right data in it, and thats your world. Youll work with our teams to ensure that we can develop connectors to get the very best data from all external data sources. You will own all aspects of our connectors. From the initial request from a customer all the way to the final delivery back to the customer during a deployment, you will own this entire process and product. Additional responsibilities will include productizing an API & SDK for our connectors and creating a strategy & executing on a plan for OCR technology integration and security authentication in our product.

You will be our touchpoint to the external world outside of our product. This requires a very unique skillset. You need to be able to synthesize hundreds of requests and prioritize based on what is best for our business. You need to be technical enough to write user stories for the connectors to ensure we deliver the functionality to the customers. You need to be collaborative to work not only with our internal teams, but external third parties which have a data source that we are trying to connect to. You need to be able thrive in a fast-paced environment but also sit back and think about how to scale these capabilities long term.

Duties & Accountabilities

  • Translate customer requirements into specific and actionable user stories for the development team
  • Create, prioritize and groom the product backlog
  • Prioritize development backlog for each development cycle & communicate priorities to stakeholders
  • Reimagine processes currently in place to be able to quickly scale up
  • Productize our solutions such that they are intuitive for our customers & contain everything that all functions need to support them
  • Develop & maintain product roadmap and ensure all stakeholders are informed
  • Create a robust and scalable strategy to deliver best in class functionality for your areas of responsibility
  • Establish, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships and vendors, based on needs from analysis of competitive advantages and strategic fit.
  • Perform market & customer research to build a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends
  • Education & Experience

  • 3 5 years of experience in product management or related functions
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
  • Experience with data integration across multiple platforms
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experiencing in defining, executing, and analyzing market and customer research to support product positioning and strategy
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
  • Customer first mentality desire to deliver the best possible user experience to customers
